Dinamo Star SE from Hungary carry out Training Experience at Ciudad Deportiva
The players travel from Budapest to Spain
The VCF Soccer Academy in Wakayama, Japan, has resumed normal activity in the training of young talents, following the lifting of COVID restrictions. More than 50 players are enrolled in the academy that Valencia CF inaugurated in 2010, and it is the longest running in the club's project in Asia, America, Europe and Africa.
Yoshio Nakatani, director of the VCF Soccer Academy, said that "The prestige of Valencia CF has steadily increased in the Wakayama, Osaka and Kobe area," noting that the presence of former Valencia CF player David Villa in Japan several seasons ago also helped raise the club's profile in the Asian country.
In recent weeks, a group of players from Seven FC, an academy in Kanawaza also tied to the VCF Soccer Academy in Wakayama, visited the Ciudad Deportiva.
The VCF Soccer Academy in Wakayama will be one of the international participants in the II VCF Academy World Cup, held in Valencia from June 29th-July 2nd. It will be their first appearance in the Under-12s competition, which brings together teams from all the continents in which the club have outposts.
